Came in search of solutions to this and other issues with my Monoprice Select Mini. I examined my Gcode and found the version on the stock sd card was truncated. The printer stops because it's run out of code. To verify, open the Gcode on your sdcard and scroll to the bottom. It's a massive list of instructions, but at the end you should find this:
